On request of farmers and traders we offer our biological pest control at our company’s premise in Scheessel – Westerholz.
Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 is the European regulation of organic production. Since 2001 S&A is certified und therefore allowed to treat organic products against pests.

The capacity of our company for disinfestations is round about 1,900 to of cereals. Up to 700 to can be treated within a gastight silo in Hemslingen, another 1,200 to on our premise in Scheessel - Westerholz .
By decanting into big bags additional amounts of grain can be taken over for treatment .

Organic Treatment at Your Place
In case our customers need to disinfect grain on their premises, we are able to offer a modern and all-round equipment for a fast and easy loading into any kind of transporter like 73 cbm silo-truck, skips (open topped containers), semi-trailers, big bags or others.
Using insects for pest control
Alternatively to fumigation we apply as well insects for pest control. Here we use the natural behaviour of insects, to subsist from pests in grain for example. The population of pest will be reduced to a natural size or even killed. These useful insects are delivered by an expert company in Switzerland called ‘Andermatt Biocontrol’.
