Heat Treatment
Packing woods as there are pallets or other wooden parts for international transports have to be treated demonstrably (including stamp and certificate). This is to stop any import or diversion of unwanted pests like e. g. insects by transport into other countries.
Due to the regulations of the IPPC (International Plant Protection Convention) especially ISPM No. 15 (International Standards of Phytosanitary Measurements) the treatments of packing wood are defined. Fumigation with bromomethane (methyl bromide) and heat treatment are allowed internationally. Nevertheless the use of the agent bromomethane was banned within the EU because of the high toxicity and destroying of the ozone layer.
With our registration number DE-NI-492366 we prepare your wood for international transports officially (including stamp and papers).
